Established in 2018 by Speaker of the House Philip Gunn, The Speaker’s Commission on Public Policy provides a platform for the advancement of public policy issues for the betterment of the State of Mississippi.
 
Through a series of semi-annual public forums called the Speaker’s Summit Series, nationally renowned experts will collaborate with Summit participants to explore solutions to a wide spectrum of policy issues faced by the State. Following each Summit, a summary report including legislative recommendations will be published and available online.   
 
The Speaker’s Commission on Public Policy is a 501(c)(4) organization funded by individuals, corporations and foundations.
